Qualifications

• Current Occupational Therapy Assistant licensure in state of practice.
• Current CPR certification.
• Current driver's license and vehicle insurance, access to a dependable vehicle, or public transportation.
• Ability to function in any home situation regardless of age, race, creed, color, sex, disability, or financial condition of the client.

Responsibilities

• Follow state laws governing home care OT and work under supervision of OT.
• Follow plan of care, instruct and aid patients in evidence-based treatment within scope.
• Observe, record, and report patient responses to treatment and condition changes.
• Instruct patient, family, caregiver, and health team in therapy areas within scope.
