EXL Service Holdings, Inc. invites applicants for a Residential High Value Insurance Appraiser position based in Ashburn, VA. Independent contractors will perform site-based and virtual property surveys for homeowners’ insurance, scheduling their own workload within a ~70 mile territory.

Candidates with real estate, inspection, construction, or appraisal experience are encouraged to apply. A 15-hour online training can certify you; compensation includes travel time/distance in addition to survey

Qualifications

• Independent contractor status with own schedule and workspace.
• Experience in real estate, inspection, construction, or appraisal is a plus.
• Training and certification may be provided; 15-hour online course available.

Responsibilities

• Schedule and conduct on-site and virtual high value home surveys.
• Identify construction materials, features and hazards.
• Obtain measurements of home and other structures.
• Prepare reports through web-based forms after surveys.
