Job summary

Physicians East, P.A. is seeking an Advanced Practice Provider (APP) to join our Hematology/Oncology team in Greenville, NC.

The APP will work with physicians to deliver comprehensive cancer care across outpatient settings, including infusion and chemo clearance visits. The ideal candidate is a PA-C or NP licensed in NC with at least three years of post-graduate experience, EMR and Dragon dictation proficiency, and strong documentation.

Qualifications

• Licensed as a PA-C or NP in North Carolina and DEA license.
• Minimum three years post-graduate experience.
• Experience with EMR, Dragon dictation and strong documentation.
• Ability to work independently under time constraints.
• Team-oriented, patient-centric culture.

Responsibilities

• Assist with consults, new patients, and daily visits.
• Assist with chemotherapy orders.
• Take medical histories, review records, and interpret data.
• Order labs and diagnostic procedures as needed.
• Perform evaluations and treatments independently.
• Prepare prescriptions and manage patient care coordination.
• Triages calls and provides clinical consultation.
• Support continuity of care between physician visits.
