Job summary

Physicians East, P.A. is seeking an Advanced Practice Provider (PA or NP) to join our hematology/oncology team in Greenville, NC. This full-time role involves outpatient care, infusion center coordination, and a shared call rotation, working under supervision with physicians.

Ideal candidates will have NC PA-C/NP licensure, a DEA license, at least three years of post-graduate experience, and proficiency with EMR systems and Dragon dictation. Team-focused, patient-centered care is essential.

Qualifications

• Licensed as a PA-C or NP in North Carolina.
• DEA license.
• Minimum of three years post-graduate experience as a provider.

Responsibilities

• Assist with consults, new patients and daily visits.
• Assist with chemotherapy orders.
• Obtain medical history and physical data; interpret data for procedures.
• Order labs and diagnostics.
• Independently evaluate and treat patients.
• Administer injections, immunizations, and medications.
• Prepare prescription orders.
• Triages patient calls and provide consults.
• Ensure continuity of care between physician visits.
• Attend meetings and participate in committees.
