Job summary

UNC Health's Rex Hematology Oncology in Raleigh, NC is seeking an Advanced Practice Provider to join an interdisciplinary team for high-quality, cost-effective patient care under physician supervision. The APP will operate within the scope of practice and hospital policies while aligning with the mission and standards of UNC Health.

Responsibilities include comprehensive history and physicals, differential diagnoses, treatment planning, and patient education.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited graduate-level Advanced Practice Provider (APRN or PA) program.
• Licensed as an Advanced Practice Provider in the state of North Carolina (NC).
• Board certification as required by the Department; DEA may be required.

Responsibilities

• Obtain history and perform physical examinations; interpret tests and develop differential diagnoses.
• Develop and implement treatment plans with appropriate pharmacologic agents and follow-up.
• Educate patients and families about conditions, treatments, and follow-up care.
