Job summary

The Veterans Canteen Service (VCS) seeks an experienced Health Tech (Optician) to support Optical Shops at the Palo Alto VA Medical Center. You will coordinate optical operations and serve as a key liaison between VCS, eye clinic providers, and prosthetics teams to enhance veteran patient experiences.

Candidates must have at least 1 year of Optician experience, the ability to work independently, and strong skills in prescription interpretation and optical verification.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year of experience working as an Optician.
• Ability to work independently and manage responsibilities with high patient service standards.
• Ability to identify prescription discrepancies and take corrective action for accuracy.
