Job summary

Northern Trust is seeking an IPS Consultant / Fund Administrator to perform fund accounting and fund administration for Integrated Portfolio Services clients. You will generate monthly net asset values, draft financial statements, and provide tax and audit support with attention to accuracy and deadlines.

Ideal candidates have a college degree and experience in fund accounting or related financial services, with CPA preferred.

Qualifications

• Degree preferred; CPA preferred.
• Experience in fund accounting or fund administration preferred.
• Strong analytical and detail-oriented mindset.
• Ability to explain complex financial information to clients.

Responsibilities

• Review monthly fund and entity closing summaries for accuracy.
• Analyze and report financial data to clients and investors.
• Complete monthly close of fund books and produce final results.
• Prepare annual and interim financial statements for funds and vehicles.
• Coordinate with auditors to support audit of fund statements.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members.
