As an Independent Freight Agent, you will be responsible for developing and managing customer relationships, generating freight opportunities, and growing your own transportation portfolio. Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain relationships with shippers and transportation decision-makers.
• Prospect and acquire new customers.
• Grow and manage your own book of business.

Account Management

• Serve as the primary point of contact for your customers.
• Maintain regular communication regarding shipments and service requirements.
• Identify opportunities for account growth and additional services.
• Resolve customer concerns in partnership with operations support.
• Source transportation capacity through Convoy's carrier network.
• Coordinate freight movements with operations support teams.
• Monitor shipment execution and customer satisfaction.
• Assist with pricing, quoting, and market analysis.
• Work closely with Convoy's operations team to ensure successful execution.
• Participate in training opportunities and agent development programs.
• Share market intelligence and growth opportunities.
