Job summary

Acorn Stairlifts in Pittsburgh, PA is seeking dependable Field Service Technicians who diagnose, install, and maintain stairlift systems in customers' homes. You will work independently within an assigned territory, provide professional customer service, and use a company-provided mobile device to manage work orders and documentation.

Qualifications

• Strong mechanical, electrical, or technical aptitude.
• Excellent troubleshooting, problem-solving, communication, and customer service skills.
• Valid driver’s license with a good driving record.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, install, and maintain Acorn stairlift systems in customers’ homes.
• Perform preventive maintenance and annual safety inspections while ensuring high-quality, reliable workmanship.
• Provide professional customer service by explaining repairs, equipment operation, and maintenance recommendations.
• Work independently throughout an assigned territory while managing schedules, work orders, documentation, and communication using a company-provided mobile device.
• Maintain an organized company vehicle and accurately manage parts inventory to ensure supplies are available when needed.
• Follow all company safety procedures and maintain a clean, safe work environment while representing Acorn Stairlifts with professionalism and integrity.
