Job summary

Acorn Stairlifts Inc. is seeking dependable Field Service Technicians to diagnose, repair, install and maintain stairlift systems in customers’ homes.

You’ll perform preventive maintenance, deliver quality workmanship, and explain operating instructions to customers. Role involves working independently in a defined territory, managing schedules, documenting work orders, and communicating via company mobile tools.

Qualifications

• Strong mechanical, electrical, or technical aptitude.
• Excellent troubleshooting, problem-solving, communication, and customer service skills.
• Comfortable using smartphones, tablets, and mobile apps for scheduling, documentation and communication.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, install, and maintain Acorn stairlift systems in customers’ homes.
• Perform preventive maintenance and annual safety inspections with high-quality workmanship.
• Provide professional customer service by explaining repairs, equipment operation, and maintenance recommendations.
• Work independently within an assigned territory while managing schedules, work orders, documentation, and communication using a company-provided mobile device.
