Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 2–4 years of hands-on electrical experience.
• Ability to work independently in the field without supervision.
• Experience diagnosing electrical issues, troubleshooting, and service work.
• Ability to read blueprints and interpret technical documents.
• Proficient with measurement tools and testing equipment.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in residential or commercial environments.
• Read and interpret electrical blueprints, wiring diagrams, and schematics.
• Troubleshoot issues and perform field diagnostics with meters and testers.
• Diagnose and resolve electrical problems efficiently in the field.
• Set and splice poles and perform advanced field work.
• Run conduit and wire per NEC standards (PVC, EMT, MC, Romex).
• Mount and install panels, outlets, boxes, switches, and fixtures.
• Perform service calls, repairs, and inspections to resolve issues.
• Operate and manage a service truck independently.
• Coordinate with general contractors and other trades on-site.
• Follow safety protocols and OSHA/local codes.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and company vehicle in good condition.
• Complete service reports and material usage documentation.
• Provide professional customer service when interacting with homeowners.
