Job summary

IES Residential Inc. is seeking an Electrical Technician to install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems on project sites. You will work with customers, vendors, and internal teams to ensure safe, compliant, and efficient electrical work.

The role requires 2–4 years of experience, ability to read blueprints, and strong attention to detail. On-site work with travel to various sites is expected; visa sponsorship is not provided.

Responsibilities

• Perform electrical installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair work on electrical systems and equipment.
• Review project plans, specifications, and work orders to support accurate project execution.
• Diagnose and resolve electrical issues in a timely and professional manner.
• Ensure all work is completed in compliance with company policies, safety standards, and electrical codes.
• Coordinate with employees, vendors, subcontractors, and internal departments regarding project activities.
• Maintain accurate records, reports, and documentation related to electrical work and project activities.
• Support project timelines and assist with resolving operational concerns in the field.
• Monitor equipment, materials, and job site conditions to support operational efficiency and safety.
• Assist with supporting and training less experienced technicians as needed.
• Maintain professionalism and effective communication throughout all customer and operational interactions.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
