Snap Health is seeking an Independent Contractor Occupational Therapist (OT) to evaluate patients, collaborate on therapy plans, and provide services within state guidelines. You will work with physicians and the health care team to relieve pain, restore function, and monitor progress.

Licensed OT in Texas, CPR certification, and a valid driver’s license are required. The role is a 1099 contractor with independent work and teamwork responsibilities across care settings.

Competenze

• Must be licensed to practice as an Occupational Therapist in the STATE OF TEXAS.
• Must possess and maintain CPR certification.
• Valid driver’s license, auto insurance and reliable transportation

Mansioni

• Evaluate the patient’s functional status and physical therapy needs. Assists the physician in the development of the therapy plan of care.
• Provides services within the scope of practice as defined by the state board of occupational therapy, in accordance with the plan of care, and in coordination with other members of the health care team.
• Treats patients to relieve pain, restore function, and / or maintain maximum functioning using acceptable standards of practice.
• Instructs and informs participating members of the health care team, the patient, and the family/caregivers regarding the plan of care, functional limitations, and progress toward goals.
• Visits patients according to Plan of Care, completes progress notes timely.
• Provides supervision of OTA’s
• Participates in discharge planning for patient.
