Job summary

YA Group is seeking a Scheduling Consultant to independently coordinate construction schedules for diverse projects. You will inspect sites, analyze project documents, and update schedules, using independent judgment to weigh alternatives and manage financial and operational impact.

Role requires a Bachelor’s in CM/Engineering with 1–4 years of scheduling experience; PSP certification is preferred. Proficiency with CPM techniques and scheduling software is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering or equivalent field.
• 1–4 years of construction scheduling experience.
• PSP certification preferred.
• Experience with CPM techniques to analyze schedules.
• Proficiency with MS Project, Primavera P6, and ASTA Powerproject.
• Experience with builder’s risk insurance policies and claims management a plus.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively with a team.

Responsibilities

• Participate in all phases of construction planning and scheduling, including development and updates.
• Conduct forensic analysis of project schedules, contemporaneous documentation, and costs.
• Perform site inspections to evaluate project progress.
• Review and organize large amounts of project documents and data.
• Perform schedule delay analysis to identify causes and resolve delays.
• Evaluate productivity, extended general conditions, and expediting expenses.
• Assess impacts of changes and delays, and communicate findings.
• Monitor timelines, expenses, and other factors for client work.
• Prepare technical project reports and maintain job files and deliverables.
• Interface with contractors, clients, and other department staff regularly.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
