Job summary

YA seeks a Construction Scheduler to manage and analyze project timelines for complex data center and semiconductor builds. The role requires coordinating schedules with clients and contractors to ensure on-time delivery and budget adherence.

Responsibilities include CPM-based analysis, document control, and detailed reporting. The ideal candidate will combine independent work with strong teamwork, delivering precise insights to minimize delays and cost overruns.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering or equivalent field is required/preferred.
  • 2-8 years of construction scheduling experience.
  • PSP (Planning & Scheduling Professional) certification is preferred.
  • Experience using CPM techniques to analyze construction project schedules.
  • Experience with MS Project, Oracle Primavera P6, and ASTA Powerproject.
  • Experience with builder’s risk insurance, construction claims management, and contractor management.
  • Experience with data centers/semiconductors is preferred.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team toward common goals.
  • Strong communication skills interfacing with stakeholders and clients.

Responsibilities

  • Participate in all phases of construction planning and scheduling, including schedules development and updates.
  • Conduct forensic analysis of schedules, contemporaneous docs, and costs.
  • Inspect construction project sites to evaluate progress.
  • Review and organize large volumes of project docs and data.
  • Perform schedule delay analysis to establish causes and claims.
  • Evaluate productivity, extended general conditions, and expediting expenses.
  • Assess impact of changes and delays, communicating findings.
  • Monitor timelines and expenses for clients during all phases of construction.
  • Prepare technical project reports from reviewed information.
  • Maintain job files and deliverables.
  • Interface with department staff, contractors, and clients regularly.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Role & Responsibilities:
  • Participate in all phases of the construction planning & scheduling process, including the development of schedules and ongoing schedule updates.
  • Conduct forensic analysis of project schedules, contemporaneous documentation, and construction costs.
  • Perform inspections of construction project sites, evaluating project progress.
  • Review and organize large amounts of construction project documents and data.
  • Perform schedule delay analysis to establish the cause and extent of delays and to resolve construction delay claims.
  • Evaluate construction productivity and progress data, extended general conditions, and expediting expenses.
  • Assess the impact of project changes and schedule delays, effectively communicating findings.
  • Operates on behalf of clients to monitor and manage timelines, expenses, and other factors critical to operational efficiency and cost management during all phases of construction.
  • Review and synthesize relevant information to prepare technical project reports.
  • Maintain job files, documentation, and other relevant deliverables.
  • Interface with other department employees, contractors, and clients on a regular basis
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree required, in construction management, engineering or equivalent field, preferred
  • 2-8 years in a construction scheduling experience.
  • Holds a PSP (Planning & Scheduling Professional) certification, preferred.
  • Experience using critical path method (CPM) techniques to analyze construction project schedules.
  • Experience with Microsoft Project, Oracle Primavera 6, and ASTA Powerproject.
  • Previous experience or exposure to builder’s risk insurance policies, construction claims management, and managing contractors.
  • Experience working on data centers / semiconductors, preferred.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team towards a common purpose.
  • Strong communications skills, with the ability to interface with various stakeholders and clients.
