Job summary

Quest, Inc. is seeking caregivers to support individuals with disabilities in their homes. Duties include personal care, meal prep, daily activities, and ensuring safety and cleanliness. The role may involve driving large capacity vehicles for transportation to training and appointments. A valid FL driver's license is preferred.

Full-time and part-time shifts are available, including weekend/holiday coverage. Training and comprehensive benefits are provided to eligible employees.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma is required.
• 18 years of age or older is required.
• Read, write and comprehend English with the ability to remain calm and communicate during a crisis.

Responsibilities

• Provide assistance with personal care for all individuals in the home as needed including toileting, bathing, dressing and hygiene needs.
• Provide positive social and leisure interaction to all individuals in the home regularly throughout the day.
• Safely lift, transfer and reposition all individuals in the home as outlined in daily schedules.
• Ensure safety for individuals in the home during mealtimes, including preparation of food and feeding assistance.
• Complete housekeeping duties daily (washing dishes, making beds, laundry, cleaning).
• Ensure supervision of individuals in the home and respond to staffing needs as required.
• Report during inclement weather to ensure care, including sheltering in place during a hurricane.
• Treat all people with dignity and respect, communicating professionally.
• If hired as a driver, operate large capacity vehicles for transportation and comply with DOT regulations.
