Job summary

UnitedHealth Group is seeking an Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) to deliver skilled therapeutic services in patients' homes, supporting functional independence under the supervision of a licensed OT.

You will implement treatment plans, document outcomes, coordinate with the care team, and promote safety and rehabilitation in the home care setting. This role also outlines a pay mix including per-visit point and hourly compensation.

Qualifications

• Licensed OTA for the assigned state.
• Graduate of ACOTE-accredited OTA program.
• Eligible to take or passed NBCOT certification exam.
• At least one year of related OTA experience or approval from regional clinical leaders.
• Current CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled interventions under supervision of an occupational therapist.
• Document visits according to guidelines and regulatory standards.
• Observe and report patient responses to treatment to the OT and team.
• Provide patient/caregiver resources for ADL/IADL needs.
• Promote wellness and occupational engagement.
• Coordinate with care center for follow-up care.
