Job summary

Siemens Mobility is seeking an Incoming Quality Inspector for its Wendell, NC facility. The role covers incoming material inspection for Production Solutions, collaborating with logistics to verify supplier quality and ensure product readiness.

The position operates on a 6:00 AM–2:30 PM shift, with an hourly rate of $22.46. Candidates must have related inspection experience and basic English proficiency to support quality and productivity improvements.

Qualifications

1+ years’ experience with inspection of electrical and mechanical components
1+ years’ experience with reading and understanding mechanical blueprints
1+ years’ experience with inspection of welded components using welding symbols/tolerances per mechanical blueprints.
1+ years’ experienceworking with tape measures, calipers,andheight gages
Basicproficiencyin English, including reading, writing, and speaking.
Proven record in Quality and Productivity
Ability tolift upto 50 lbs.as needed

Responsibilities

Works with peers, factorypersonneland 3rd party suppliers to ensure inspection tools are properly calibrated
Works with purchasing and engineering teams to resolve non-conformances with material that will be used in finished goods
Drives continuous improvement activities with own team and other departments
Will work with SAP, Salesforce.com and Microsoft Excel
Must adhere to all safety rules and keep safety first for self and others
Perform miscellaneous other duties as assigned by Supervisor or Management
