Job summary

Siemens is seeking an Incoming Quality Inspector for the Receiving Inspection team at our Wendell, NC facility. The role supports production solutions by verifying supplier quality and inspecting incoming material on the 1st shift.

Shift hours are 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM, with an hourly rate of $22.46. The candidate will work with the logistics team to ensure quality and compliance, lifting up to 50 lbs as needed and using SAP, Salesforce.com and Excel in daily tasks.

Qualifications

• 1+ years’ experience inspecting electrical and mechanical components.
• 1+ years reading mechanical blueprints.
• 1+ years inspecting welded components using welding symbols/tolerances.
• 1+ years using tape measures, calipers, height gauges.
• English reading, writing, speaking required.

Responsibilities

• Ensure inspection tools are properly calibrated with factory personnel.
• Collaborate with purchasing and engineering to resolve non-conformances.
• Drive continuous improvement within the inspection team and other departments.
• Use SAP, Salesforce.com and Excel in daily tasks.
• Uphold safety rules and promote safe working practices.
• Support teammates and act as a strong team player.
