Job summary

Siemens Mobility in Wendell, NC is seeking an Incoming Quality Inspector for the Receiving Inspection team on the 1st shift. You will perform incoming material inspection on Production Solutions products, working with logistics to verify supplier quality.

Shift Hours: 6:00 AM–2:30 PM; Hourly Rate: $24.79. The role requires at least 3 years' experience inspecting electrical and mechanical components, blueprint reading, welded component inspection, and using tape measures, calipers, and height

Qualifications

3+ years’ experience with inspection of electrical and mechanical components.
3+ years’ experience with reading and understanding mechanical blueprints.
3+ years’ experience inspecting welded components using welding symbols/tolerances per blueprints.
3+ years’ experience working with tape measures, calipers, and height gauges.
Full proficiency in English (reading, writing, speaking).
Proven record in Quality and Productivity.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs as needed.
US work authorization without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

Ensure inspection tools are properly calibrated with peers and suppliers.
Collaborate with purchasing and engineering to resolve material non-conformances.
Drive continuous improvement with own team and other departments.
Work with SAP, Salesforce.com and Microsoft Excel; follow safety rules.
