Job summary

Siemens Mobility in Wendell, NC is seeking an Incoming Quality Inspector for the Receiving Inspection team on the 1st shift. You will inspect incoming materials for Production Solutions products and partner with the logistics team to verify supplier quality.

Shift hours are 6:00AM-2:30PM with an hourly rate of $22.46. Qualifications include 1+ years of inspection experience, blueprint reading, welding symbol/tolerance inspection, measuring tools proficiency, and US work authorization.

Qualifications

• 1+ years’ experience inspecting electrical and mechanical components.
• Ability to read mechanical blueprints.
• Experience inspecting welded components using welding symbols/tolerances.
• Proficient with measuring tools (tape measure, calipers, height gauge).
• Legal US work authorization.

Responsibilities

• Perform incoming material inspection to support production readiness.
• Ensure inspection tools are properly calibrated and maintained.
• Collaborate with purchasing and engineering to resolve non-conformances.
• Utilize SAP, Salesforce.com and Microsoft Excel in daily tasks.
• Adhere to safety rules and perform other duties as assigned.
