Tulsa Public Schools seeks a Specially Designed Instructional Coordinator to guide educators in implementing specially designed instruction district-wide. You will coach, mentor and develop teachers, promote evidence-based strategies, and ensure instructional fidelity to improve student outcomes for students with disabilities.
The role is grant-funded and contingent on grant availability; a Bachelor's degree in special education is required and a Master’s degree is preferred.
Tulsa Public Schools’ existing salary schedules provide career increment adjustments based on education/experience and/or years of creditable service. The Specially Designed Instructional Coordinator serves as a guide and resource for educators to effectively implement specially designed instruction across the district. This role emphasizes coaching, supporting, and mentoring teachers in the use of evidence-based strategies and curriculum to improve outcomes for students with disabilities. The Coordinator works collaboratively with school teams and district leadership to ensure compliance, promote instructional fidelity, and enhance student achievement. This position is grant-funded; continuation is contingent on the availability of grant funding.
