Job summary

Uxbridge Public Schools seeks an Integrated Preschool Teacher (Long Term Sub) at Taft Elementary to plan and implement developmentally appropriate lessons in line with MA early learning guidelines. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree preferred.
• Valid Massachusetts DESE licensure in Special Education and Elementary Education or PreK-2 with disabilities.
• Experience with IEP development, implementation, and progress monitoring.
• Knowledge of preschool curriculum and inclusive education practices.
• Ability to work with diverse learners and families.

Responsibilities

• Plan and implement developmentally appropriate lessons aligned with MA guidelines.
• Provide specialized instruction with modifications for diverse learners.
• Develop and monitor IEP goals and progress documentation.
• Conduct formal and informal assessments to support eligibility processes.
• Collaborate with Early Intervention, preschools, and agencies.
• Participate in eligibility determinations, annual reviews, and IEP development.
• Provide instruction in inclusive and small group settings per IEPs.
• Communicate regularly with families about progress and development.
• Maintain safe, inclusive classroom environment and manage behaviors.
• Collect data and adjust instruction to meet individual needs.
• Collaborate with teams and supervise paraprofessionals.
