Job summary

LCI is seeking a supervisor to oversee production workers, set work procedures, prepare schedules and expedite workflow on site in Durham, NC. You will issue instructions, track attendance and production records to ensure accuracy and policy compliance.

The role emphasizes meeting safety, quality and production goals, coordinating with the plant manager to finish orders on time, and maintaining a positive team environment. Monday–Friday, 7:10 AM–3:45 PM.

Qualifications

• A minimum of 2 to 5 years of manufacturing supervision experience.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Excel, Word, and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Determine work procedures, prepare work schedules, and expedite workflow.
• Issue written and oral instructions to production workers and ensure clear goals.
• Examine work for exactness, neatness, and conformance to policies.
• Maintain attendance and production records.
• Study and standardize procedures to improve efficiency.
• Maintain harmony among workers and resolve grievances.
• Coordinate with plant manager to ensure orders are completed on time.
• Meet safety/housekeeping, quality, and production goals.
• Direct training and indoctrination of workers to improve performance.
