Job summary

KIPP Columbus seeks a highly qualified Inclusion Intervention Specialist to deliver specially designed instruction for students with disabilities within an anti-racist, collaborative school culture.

You will push-in to general education, design targeted strategies, and work closely with teachers to implement IEPs and MTSS, ensuring equitable access and strong student outcomes across K-12.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree from an accredited four-year college or university.
• Current Ohio Special Education Intervention Specialist License or willingness and ability to pursue certification by start date via Traditional/Alternative/Supplemental pathways.
• Prior teaching experience preferred, but not required.
• Experience with participating in ETR meetings and writing ETR part 1.
• Experience with writing IEPs, progress monitoring, progress reporting & data collection.
• Experience using SameGoal to create special education documents.

Responsibilities

• Implement IEPs and design individualized instructional strategies.
• Provide specialized instruction in small groups for students on caseload.
• Push-in to general education classes and co-teach with general education teachers.
• Differentiate instruction and modify curriculum for diverse learning needs.
• Use evidence-based strategies to support academic growth and SEL.
