Boston Public Schools seeks an exceptional Special Education History Inclusion teacher with an SEI endorsement to join our community of teachers, learners, and leaders. This is an exciting opportunity for teachers who desire to serve where their efforts matter.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • Massachusetts teaching license in Moderate Disabilities for appropriate grade.
  • ESL license or SEI endorsement.
  • Fully licensed and Highly Qualified per state standards.
  • Authorized to work in the United States by start date.

Responsibilities

  • Implement district learning goals aligned to state standards.
  • Provide small-group instruction for students with moderate to severe cognitive delays.
  • Write and monitor IEP goals and progress reports.
  • Provide accommodations and curriculum as needed for MCAS Alternate.
  • Collaborate with school staff to support student needs and modification.
  • Assist with transition to adult living services where appropriate.
