Albertina Kerr is seeking an Employment Consultant to facilitate inclusive employment for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities and mental health challenges. You will manage a caseload, provide career assessments and job readiness training, and work with employers to promote inclusive hiring.

The role is full-time with travel across Clackamas County to various sites; occasional evenings, weekends, or holidays may be required.

Formación

• Minimum 6 months of job coaching experience and 1 year working with individuals with disabilities.
• Flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsabilidades

• Build relationships with local businesses to identify job opportunities, with or without ADA accommodations.
• Educate employers on the benefits of a diverse workforce and inclusive hiring practices.
• Conduct worksite assessments and support individuals in integrating into workplace culture.
• Provide on-site support and advocacy as needed.
• Case management and guide individuals through job preparation activities like resume writing, interview practice, and transportation planning.
• Deliver Discovery/Career Exploration services and develop vocational profiles.
• Maintain accurate documentation and collaborate with support teams to ensure consistent, person-centered services.
