Job summary

The Rise School of Denver is hiring a full‑time Assistant Teacher to support an inclusive classroom where children with and without developmental delays learn together. You will work with a Lead Teacher, therapists, and families to implement individualized plans and meaningful activities daily.

We emphasize evidence‑based practices, family partnership, and collaborative coaching in a fast‑paced environment.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of developmentally appropriate practices for working with young children.
• Experience working with young children with and without developmental delays and/or disabilities is highly preferred.
• Education and Experience: High School or GED; ECE/ECSE experience preferred; experience with diverse learners.

Responsibilities

• Aligns with Rise School philosophy that all children can learn with encouragement and evidence‑based support.
• Supports the lead teacher with curriculum-based assessment and weekly lesson planning.
• Participates in practice‑based coaching and family engagement activities.
• Maintains professional communication with administration, families, therapists, and staff.
• Ensures safety and adherence to Colorado Shines and Childcare Licensing guidelines.
• Maintains CPR, First Aid, Universal Precautions, and Medication Administration certifications.
