Job summary

Rise School of Denver is hiring a full-time Assistant Teacher to join a transdisciplinary team supporting children with and without developmental delays. The role focuses on creating an engaging, safe classroom and assisting the Lead Teacher, therapists, and families in planning and implementing individualized supports.

Ideal candidates include early career teachers or those in ECE/ECSE with a passion for inclusion, development, and family partnership.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of developmentally appropriate practices for young children.
• Experience working with children with and without developmental delays and/or disabilities is highly preferred.
• Strong ability to work in a transdisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Assist Lead Teacher with classroom activities and planning.
• Support therapy team with assessments and interventions.
• Engage children in developmentally appropriate learning activities.
• Maintain safety and confidentiality and adhere to licensing guidelines.
• Participate in family engagement, staff meetings, and after-school program activities.
