Job summary

Bend-La Pine Schools is seeking a Learning Specialist to serve students with IEPs across settings, from most restrictive to least restrictive. You will work as part of a team including other Learning Specialists and educational assistants to deliver targeted instruction and supports.

Qualifications

• Valid Oregon teaching license with special education endorsement.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Education or related field.

Responsibilities

• Performs case management and ensures documentation and compliance with special education procedures.
• Develops an Individual Education Program (IEP) in all areas of need.
• Organizes and facilitates meetings with IEP team; coordinates actions and outcomes.
• Collaborates with General Education Teachers and parents to support student access to general education.
