Job summary

The Marlene Meyerson JCC Manhattan is seeking an Inclusion Specialist for its After School Clubhouse program, serving Pre-K through Grade 5. The role focuses on strengthening inclusive practices, translating family and school recommendations into practical supports, and coaching staff to ensure meaningful participation for children with diverse needs.

Working with Clubhouse leadership, CDA, and families, you will develop individualized tools, support plans, and system-wide strategies, and help

Qualifications

• Background in social work, education, psychology or related field preferred.
• Experience supporting neurodivergent children or children with disabilities in inclusive settings preferred.
• Knowledge of strengths-based, neurodiversity-affirming practices.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills with families, staff and professionals.
• Flexible and adaptable in a busy afterschool environment.

Responsibilities

• Observe classrooms and provide real-time consultation to counselors and leadership.
• Help staff problem-solve around regulation, sensory needs, executive functioning, participation and transitions.
• Provide coaching, case consultation, and modeling to build staff capacity.
• Coordinate with families and school teams to translate evaluations and recommendations into practical supports.
