OCCUPATIONAL HEALTH & SAFETY INCIDENT RESPONSE TECHNICIAN

At On-Site Health & Safety, our Field Technicians explore diverse skill sets beyond traditional EMT, Paramedic, Medical Assistant, Phlebotomy, or LVN roles. These technicians work in a mobile setting, responding in company vehicles to various worksites, including construction zones, warehouses, refineries, and restaurants. Employees enjoy the flexibility of clocking in and out from home, eliminating commutes, and exploring different disciplines to broaden their experience.

Established in 1996 in California, On-Site Health & Safety now operates in over 20 states. Our mission is: “We keep America working by being On-Site.” Our core services include compliance assistance, incident response, first aid, pulmonary testing, drug screening, hearing tests, and blood draws for certified/licensed personnel.

Position Benefits/Privileges:
  • Take home company vehicle
  • Part-Time Schedule
  • Alternate work week: 3 days/10 hours
  • Hourly Rate: $21-$28
  • On-call shifts, including some overnight and weekends
Minimum Qualifications:
  • Education or Experience in EMT, AEMT, Paramedic, Military Medic, or equivalent
  • Licensed Vocational or Practical Nurse
  • Additional training (provided in-house) in areas such as Emergency Medical Responder, X-Ray Technician, Phlebotomist, Medical Assistant, or CNA
  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • Insurable by our motor vehicle insurance (3-5 years driving history or documented defensive driving training)
  • No severe driving violations (DUIs, reckless driving, etc.)
  • Pass criminal background check
  • Pass pre-employment drug screening
Additional Notes:
  • Clear articulation of instructions
  • Comfort with public speaking
  • Ability to stand, walk, sit, climb stairs for extended periods
  • Willingness to operate a vehicle for long periods, up to 90% of shift
Work Location:

Hiring in key geographical areas to cover service demands, allowing employees to work within their local area for prompt response.

Note: Extensive background checks, including MVR, are conducted. Employment is contingent upon successful background and drug screening. Employees may be exposed to federally funded sites, requiring compliance with drug testing policies. Some roles are safety-sensitive and subject to post-accident and random testing. Hepatitis B vaccination is recommended due to exposure risks.
