Occupational Health & Safety Incident Response Technician

At On-Site Health & Safety, our Health & Safety Incident Response Technicians or Field Technicians can explore various skill sets not otherwise available under traditional roles such as EMT, Paramedic, Medical Assistant, Phlebotomy, or LVN. Our Field Technicians work in a mobile setting, responding in company-provided vehicles to worksites like construction zones, warehouses, refineries, restaurants, and more. They enjoy the flexibility of clocking in and out from home, avoiding commutes. Employees can also explore other disciplines to broaden their experience.

Our mission is: “We keep America working by being On-Site.” We respond to worksites to ensure compliance with health and safety standards, provide incident reports, first aid, pulmonary testing, drug screening, hearing tests, and blood draws when certified.

Position Benefits:
  • Take-home company vehicle
  • Part-Time
  • Alternate work week: 3 days/10-hour shifts
  • $21-$28/hour
  • On-call rotation including overnight and weekend shifts
Minimum Qualifications:
  • Experience or education in EMT, AEMT, Paramedic, Military Medic, Licensed Vocational/Practical Nurse, Emergency Medical Responder, X-Ray Technician, Phlebotomist, Medical Assistant, or CNA
  • At least 18 years old
  • Insurable by our motor vehicle insurance with a 3-5 year driving history or documented defensive driving training
  • No severe driving violations (DUI, reckless driving, etc.)
  • Pass a criminal background check
  • Pass a pre-employment drug screen and comply with drug testing policies
Additional Notes:
  • Must articulate instructions clearly and be comfortable speaking publicly
  • Able to stand, walk, sit, climb stairs, and operate a vehicle for extended periods
  • Driving may comprise up to 90% of shifts
Work Location:

The company hires in key areas within a major geographical region, allowing employees to live nearby and respond promptly to service requests. Background checks include MVR reviews to determine fleet driving privileges.

Employment is contingent on successful background and drug screening. Employees may access federally funded sites, requiring compliance with DOT drug testing standards. Some roles are safety-sensitive and subject to post-accident and random testing.

Immunization against hepatitis B is recommended due to potential exposure risks.
