This position reports to: Service Team Leader

Your role and responsibilities:

• Execute service work according to work instructions, ABB quality, and safety guidelines.
• Deliver quality customer service, planning, and executing service work as per customer orders and expectations.
• Communicate effectively to ensure customer retention and clarity on service work timelines.
• This role is remote and contributes to the Electrification Smart Power division in Chicago, IL.

You will be mainly accountable for:

• Working with customers on-site to identify operational improvements and pain points.
• Performing field service tasks, diagnosing technical issues, and analyzing through remote or on-site activities.
• Preparing material lists and ensuring availability and quality of materials, parts, and equipment.
• Training field service associates and customers when needed.

Qualifications for the role:

• High School Diploma with 5 years of professional experience.
• Bachelor’s or Associate’s Degree preferred; experience in servicing critical power equipment.
• Strong communication skills (written and verbal).
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; capable of project management using MS Project or Excel.
• Ability to write test plans and reports.
• Willingness to travel up to 75%, including nights and weekends.
• Must have valid work authorization in the US to work at ABB.

The position salary ranges from $55,400 to $102,600 annually, depending on qualifications and experience.
