Job summary

PNC is seeking an Incident & Response Consultant within the SRC First Response organization. The role is based in Phoenix, AZ, Strongsville, OH, or Pittsburgh, PA, with a 3pm–11pm EST shift Tuesday to Saturday.

You will lead the response to high-impact IT incidents, coordinating technical resources and ensuring clear communication throughout the incident lifecycle. When not leading major incidents, you will focus on proactive event management by monitoring alerts and escalating issues to

Qualifications

• Experience with incident and problem management programs.
• 3+ years relevant/ direct industry experience; degree or equivalent.
• Knowledge of major incident management processes and RCA/trend analysis.
• Strong communication and leadership during incidents.

Responsibilities

• Act as the primary incident lead for high-impact IT incidents.
• Triage IT issues by severity and determine response actions.
• Open and manage major incident bridge calls.
• Lead cross-functional teams to drive rapid issue resolution.
• Maintain command-and-control presence and ensure timely decisions.
• Coordinate and communicate status updates during incidents.
• Manage incidents impacting critical systems such as online/mobile banking and enterprise apps.
