Midcontinent Independent System Operator, Inc. is seeking a Unified Incident Response Manager to oversee the UIR Team’s projects and drive strategic alignment with the information security strategy.

The role emphasizes incident response, business continuity, training, and continuous improvement across the organization. You will lead development of disaster recovery plans, coordinate cross-team initiatives, and manage budgets and hiring.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or 4 years relevant work experience equivalent.
• Demonstrated leadership abilities via mentoring or leading initiatives.
• 5+ years of Emergency Management/Homeland security experience.
• Experience in risk management, IT cyber threat, or public safety preferred.
• Prior energy industry experience preferred.

• Oversee the Unified Incident Response (UIR) Team’s projects and activities.
• Develop and execute business continuity and disaster recovery strategies.
• Lead training and preparedness efforts across the organization.
• Set priorities, delegate tasks, and manage department budgets.
