Job summary

Goodwill Industries of the Southern Piedmont seeks a seasoned Store Operations Director to lead multiple retail locations, drive net income, and align stores with organizational values.

You will supervise Store Managers, manage budgets and payroll, control expenses, and mentor staff while collaborating with Loss Prevention, Visual Merchandising, and Goodwill University to maintain high standards of service and performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field and seven years' retail sales management experience.
• Valid Driver's License (Class C), car insurance and reliable automobile.

Responsibilities

• Monitors district performance through sales, expenses, production, inventory, and staffing.
• Advises managers on action plans to meet operational and financial goals.
• Develops annual budgets, objectives, and work plans with leadership.
• Recruits and develops high‑performing teams; builds succession plans.
• Implements SOPs to maintain customer service, safety, and security standards.
• Collaborates with Visual Merchandising and Loss Prevention to protect assets.
• Provides training coordination with Goodwill University to keep staff current.
