The Inbound/Outbound Shipment Coordinator supports the day-to-day coordination and administration of domestic and international logistics operations, including Department of Defense (DoD) shipments. This role is responsible for arranging and monitoring work orders, coordinating with domestic and international agents, tracking shipments, and providing timely updates to customers. In addition, this position supports accounts payable activities by reviewing and auditing vendor invoices, processing payment requests, monitoring payment status, and resolving billing discrepancies.
Similar to a Logistics Coordinator role, this position offers greater variety and hands-on problem-solving, requiring the ability to navigate shipment challenges, coordinate solutions across multiple parties, and keep operations moving efficiently. You’ll be the account’s main point of contact for customers, helping answer shipment questions, troubleshoot issues, and find solutions when things do not go as planned and actively responsible for keeping shipments, documentation, and communication moving smoothly.
