Job summary

West Marine is seeking a Ship Receiver to manage inbound warehouse operations, including unloading shipments, inspecting goods, recording data in the Warehouse Management System (WMS) or ERP, and storing items to preserve inventory accuracy. This role supports efficient supply chain workflows in our distribution center.

Strong attention to detail, basic computer skills, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs are required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in receiving or warehouse preferred.
• Familiarity with RF scanners and picking systems is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Receive and inspect inbound shipments, unload with equipment.
• Document discrepancies and update records in WMS/ERP.
• Store items in designated locations and assist with cycle counts.
• Coordinate with carriers and internal teams to resolve issues.
• Perform quality checks and maintain clean work area.
