Job summary

West Marine is seeking a Ship Receiver to manage inbound warehouse operations, ensuring accurate receiving, inspection, documentation, and storage to support efficient supply chain activities. This role contributes to maintaining inventory integrity and may require flexibility in scheduling.

Responsibilities include unloading shipments, verifying orders, entering data into WMS/ERP, and maintaining organized storage and records.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in receiving/warehouse preferred.
• Familiarity with RF scanners advantageous.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks.
• Willingness to work flexible hours including weekends/overtime.

Responsibilities

• Receive and inspect shipments; verify against purchase orders and packing lists.
• Document inbound data in the WMS/ERP using barcode scanners and prepare delivery reports.
• Move and store items in designated locations; assist with cycle counts and audits.
• Coordinate with carriers, vendors, and internal teams to resolve discrepancies.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area and follow safety protocols.
