Job summary

SanMar-Internal is seeking a Receiver/Loader to unload and load incoming and outgoing trailers by following SOPs. You will sort, palletize and move product, using a Power Jack as needed.

You should maintain a safe, neat workspace and meet deadlines, with the ability to work independently or in a team in a fast-paced warehouse environment. The role may require overtime and adherence to safety regulations.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to read, write and identify colors, sizes, quantity, label and SKU information.
• Basic math skills in counting and quantity required.
• Demonstrated ability to follow directions and adapt to changing priorities.
• Ability to work efficiently with minimal supervision.
• Ability to work in high-demand, high-volume environment while meeting deadlines.
• Able to work independently or within a team.
• Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Overtime may be required.
• May need to complete and maintain SanMar Lift Operator Certification every three years.

Responsibilities

• Unload and load product by following standard operating procedures.
• May use electric Power Jack to move pallets and/or product as needed.
• Maintain safe, neat and clean work area by adhering to SanMar safety regulations.
• Meet minimum standards and accuracy standards and delivery deadlines.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Comply with all policies and standards.
