Job summary

Lippert is seeking an Inbound Manager to ensure all inbound freight is received and stocked on time. You will report to the General Manager of the Distribution Center.

You will supervise inbound staff, schedule trucks, verify packing slip accuracy with Purchasing and Accounts Payable, coordinate with dispatchers, and guarantee dock integrity and timely reporting in a fast-paced, safety-conscious environment.

Qualifications

• Associates or Bachelor degree required.
• 10+ years of warehouse experience.
• Experience managing 20+ people.
• Multi-shift leadership a plus.

Responsibilities

• Supervise inbound department team members.
• Schedule inbound trucks to ensure a consistent flow on the dock and minimize detention charges.
• Coordinate with Purchasing and Accounts Payable to validate packing slip accuracy for timely vendor payments.
• Communicate with internal Distribution Center teams to reconcile material transfer order discrepancies.
• Collaborate with Parcel, LTL, and Truck load dispatchers and drivers to maintain a steady inbound freight flow.
• Ensure any dropped trailers in the yard are secured.
• Hold the team accountable for dock accuracy and put-away processes.
• Perform daily and weekly reporting; keep stage bin locations clean at shift end.
