Job summary

L&R Distributors, Inc. is seeking an Assistant Distribution Center Manager to back up the General Manager and oversee daily distribution center operations, including shipping, receiving, inventory, and staff scheduling.

You will analyze operational data to identify strengths and weaknesses, implement best practices, ensure training, and enforce safety and production procedures in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Experience leading warehouse teams and scheduling
• Ability to train staff on standard procedures
• Strong analytical skills to identify process improvements

Responsibilities

• Maintain staffing to meet production goals for warehouse activities.
• Ensure all employees trained in each function they perform.
• Oversee daily shipping and receiving activities and ensure accuracy of orders and inventory.
• Monitor cycle counts and update open orders reflecting current processing status.
• Manage maintenance and safety procedures; supervise contractors as needed.
