Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent or substantial work experience.
• Advanced computer knowledge including e-mail, Word and Excel.
• Professional phone skills and keyboarding.
• Ability to contribute to company operations through ethical practices.

Responsibilities

• Handle inbound customer requests for pricing and availability.
• Respond to customer emails within 30 minutes to 1 hour.
• Enter quotes and invoices into the invoicing system.
• Prepare and supply freight quotes and invoices.
• Locate alternative products from approved vendors.
• Own issues and keep customers informed on resolution status.
• Log all customer interactions via email, text, phone or in person.
• Ensure accurate client notes for proper follow up.
• Follow up on quotes and lead times to close sales.
• Maintain records of all follow-up activities.
• Review dormant customers and follow up as needed.
• Develop and manage relationships with key accounts and quotes.
• Provide consistent, superior customer service and maintain satisfaction.
• Build repeat business through open communication.
• Assist in keeping price lists and catalogs updated.
• Make outbound calls to generate new leads.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Comply with ISO 9001 requirements when required.
