Job summary

Nebraska Furniture Mart (NFM) is hiring a Receiving Coordinator in Cedar Park, TX to manage the full inbound receiving process from scheduling to post-audit. You will coordinate shipments across furniture, appliances, electronics, and flooring, maintaining dock schedules, validating paperwork, and ensuring accurate receipts.

You will work with vendors, drivers and internal teams to resolve discrepancies and ensure on-time delivery.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• 1-2 years of office, clerical, administrative, receiving, or logistics experience preferred.
• Experience with furniture, appliance, electronics, flooring, warehouse, or distribution operations preferred.
• Microsoft Office skills, including proficiency in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint required.
• Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage multiple inbound processes accurately and efficiently.
• Ability to work night, weekend and/or early morning hours based on business needs.
• Ability to lift per established department requirement.
• Pre-employment screening includes, but isn’t limited to, criminal background check.

Responsibilities

• Schedule inbound vendor and carrier appointments and maintain daily unload schedules.
• Check in inbound drivers and trailers, validate paperwork and routing.
• Communicate with vendors, carriers, drivers, and internal teams to align receiving operations.
• Support inbound receiving processes by updating systems with receipt and unload information.
• Audit post-receipt documentation for accuracy and compliance.
