Job summary

APMEX is seeking an Inbound Sales Representative in Oklahoma City to place sales and purchasing orders for clients, building relationships through proactive service. The role requires an associates or bachelor’s degree in a related field and 1+ years in sales or purchasing, with familiarity in a call-center setting.

Local candidates are preferred for downtown OKC work. Responsibilities include handling inbound/outbound calls, quoting pricing, managing the full sales/purchasing cycle, and staying

Qualifications

• Associates degree or bachelor’s degree in Sales, Marketing, Communications, Business Administration or related field required, but an equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered
• 1+ years of professional experience in Sales, Purchasing, and Marketing preferred
• Prior call center experience preferred
• Data entry and reporting experience preferred
• Experience with Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel required

Responsibilities

• Answer inbound sales calls and educate clients on product lines
• Answer inbound purchasing calls to assist with liquidations
• Analyze client needs and quote pricing accordingly
• Maintain a database of leads and referrals
• Manage complete sales/purchasing cycle from prospecting to delivery
• Stay current on financial markets and trends
• Proactively assess client needs and risk
• Place outbound calls to follow up on potential transactions
• Respond to Retail Purchasing email quotes
• Diagnose, research, and resolve client concerns and requests
