Job summary

Home Chef in Baltimore seeks an Inbound/Outbound Superintendent to lead dock operations, ensuring accurate inbound and outbound shipments and a safe, efficient workspace. You will coach warehouse staff, implement SOPs, supervise 10–15 team members, and coordinate with maintenance and logistics to meet daily production goals.

This role requires hands-on leadership and a focus on safety, quality and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

Supervise 10–15 employees and drive performance.
2+ years of warehouse leadership experience.
5S and lean manufacturing principles desired.
Must be certified to operate P.I.T equipment within 90 days.

Responsibilities

Oversee inbound/outbound dock operations and ensure timely shipments.
Lead and coach the dock team to achieve safety, quality, and productivity goals.
Audit SOP compliance and develop procedures to reduce downtime.
Collaborate with maintenance, logistics, and other departments to resolve issues.
Monitor WMS usage and ensure accurate data entry and inventory control.
Manage scheduling, attendance, and coaching documentation.
