Job summary

Batteries Plus is seeking an Inbound Manager to oversee receiving, unloading, inspection, and storage of goods. You will lead daily inbound operations, drive efficiency, accuracy, and profitability by partnering with DC leaders and overseeing staffing and process improvements.

You will hire, train, and evaluate associates, coach team members, and ensure safety policies and PPE compliance while maintaining inventory integrity and coordinating across teams.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Minimum 3 years of warehouse or distribution center operations experience.
• Minimum 1 year of formal supervisory or team leadership experience.
• WMS proficiency including receiving, picking, packing, and shipping.
• Advanced computer skills in Google Suite and MS Office, with strong Excel.
• Forklift certification required.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with conflict resolution ability.
• Willingness to work nights and weekends to meet business needs.

Responsibilities

• Oversee inbound receiving processes to ensure accuracy and quality.
• Lead inbound operations to drive efficiency and profitability.
• Ensure timely receipt and processing of inventory.
• Collaborate on warehouse layout, space utilization, and staffing.
• Implement process improvements to optimize workflow.
• Coach and develop receiving associates through training.
• Enforce safety policies and PPE usage.
• Coordinate issue resolution across teams to minimize disruption.
• Maintain inventory integrity to meet metrics.
• Partner with QA and safety teams on policy adherence.
