Our Daily Bread Ministries is seeking an Inbound Mail Specialist—Level 2 in Grand Rapids, MI. This full-time, on-site role focuses on processing incoming mail, donations, and orders with high accuracy to support global ministry operations.

You will operate scanning equipment, verify contributions, and ensure confidentiality of donor information while collaborating with a fast-paced team to maintain timely workflows.

Qualifications

• High school diploma with training in machine operations or related experience.
• Strong attention to detail and basic mathematical skills with a focus on accuracy.
• Experience with PCs, including Microsoft Windows and Excel.
• Ability to learn specialized systems such as MAVRO and OPEX.
• Mechanical aptitude and ability to perform basic equipment maintenance.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to perform repetitive tasks with consistency and focus.

Responsibilities

• Open, sort, and scan all incoming mail using specialized extraction and scanning equipment.
• Accurately record and process donation and order information with attention to detail.
• Perform manual verification of contributions, including checks, account numbers, and order details.
• Prepare and reconcile cash and check deposits, ensuring accuracy and security.
• Deliver deposits to the bank as needed.
• Troubleshoot and maintain mail processing equipment to ensure smooth operation.
• Support internal mail distribution and collaborate with team members to maintain workflow efficiency.
