Eagle Logistics Systems is seeking a Receiving Specialist in Jacksonville, FL to verify inbound/outbound paperwork, maintain quality processes, and support freight operations. The role emphasizes excellent customer service and logistics knowledge within a busy warehouse environment.

Ideal candidates will have 3+ years in warehouse shipping/receiving, strong English communication, and proficiency with MS Office.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED.
3+ years of experience in warehouse shipping and receiving.
Strong verbal communication skills.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office including Outlook, Excel, and Word.
Proficient in written and verbal English communication.
Ability to work in a temperature-controlled warehouse environment.

Responsibilities

Assist all truckers by answering questions upon arrival.
Verify inbound and outbound paperwork for accurate temperature, quantities, and additional customer-based requirements.
Ensure quality processes are followed during the receiving process.
Verify all check payments.
Direct all inbound loads received to the appropriate dock.
Verify all inbound appointment requests.
Create labels.
Close loads.
Create Doc receipts.
Ensure Overpacks are correct.
Release loaded containers to the port.
Follow all Standard Operating Procedures.
Perform any tasks or responsibilities assigned by management.
